Rodeos & Results

Cal Poly Royal Rodeo

Poly Royal has been the premier rodeo in the West Coast region since the first Poly Royal Rodeo in 1940. It is the largest college rodeo west of the Mississippi and draws crowds of up to 20,000 spectators. The Poly Royal Rodeo is held each year in early to mid-April at the Cal Poly Rodeo grounds on the Cal Poly campus in San Luis Obispo, Calif., during Cal Poly’s Open House weekend. The rodeo is a favorite of regional competitors as well as Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo community members for its lively atmosphere, professional entertainers and high-quality awards.  Poly Royal would not be possible without the program’s valued sponsors.

Tickets will be on sale February 1st at https://tickets.calpoly.edu/
