CNFR Qualifiers

This year representing the Cal Poly Mustangs at the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, Wyoming:

Grant Peterson and regional champion Ethan Usher in steer wrestling. Both of these young men have the work ethic and talent to go on and do big things. Both are mounted and have two of the best hazers in the region.

Maggie Usher and Hannah Steagall in goat tying. Both are as tough as it gets on the ground. Aimee Davis (Cuesta and regional champion) will also compete in Casper, Wyoming.

Two College National Finals Rodeo veterans Karson Mebane and Quintin McWhorter will compete in saddle bronc riding.

Cole Tart will compete in bareback riding. He is newer to rodeo and brand new to the bareback riding. However, he is gritty and tough and has earned his way to compete on the national stage.

Kathryn Varian and Kelsey Cadwell will compete in barrel racing and will surely shake things up in Casper, Wyoming and represent the long line of tough barrel racers we continue to bring to the finals.

Jason Andersen is representing Cal Poly in tie down roping. His determination and dedication show as he works hard and strives for perfection every day.

Tyree Cochrane will compete in team roping and will be heeling for Makenna Wood. Tyree has been making a talented little heel horse all year and her ability to take this horse to the finals is pretty special.
