Poly Royal
We are excited to announce that the 2022 Poly Royal Rodeo is scheduled for this coming spring. The event, which is a critical fundraiser for our Cal Poly Rodeo program, was cancelled the past two years due to COVID-19 and the team is working diligently to make sure this year is one for the record books.
Alex G. Spanos Stadium is undergoing a major artificial turf installation in 2022, so the team is going back to its roots and hosting the 80th Poly Royal at the Cotton Rosser Rodeo Complex on campus in April. The shift in arenas necessitates several changes to the program format but the team guarantees an amazing college rodeo. Below is a breakdown of the schedule. Mark your calendars to be part of the 80th annual Poly Royal!
- Wednesday, April 6: A student-focused event and concert
- Thursday, April 7: Poly Royal Banquet at the Madonna Inn, 6 p.m.
- Friday, April 8: Green & Gold night: a limited-ticket event, 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday, April 9: Poly Royal Rodeo Finals, 5:30 p.m.
